One of my new favorite online tools (or toys, like I like to call them) is Aviary.com. Not only does it let you edit photos, it lets you create vector graphics, edit music and play with all these nifty effects — all at no cost. OK, so what’s the catch, right? Nothing, at least not yet.
This website is incredibly powerful, and even though there is a PRO account, the free service is all you need to download a JPG or GIF version of your creation. Now there is really no excuse for everyone not to have professional, eye-grabbing photos and graphics on their websites and blogs. Although you don’t get the full functionality of Photoshop or Illustrator, this is definitely going to become a favorite website for small businesses and professionals looking to create everyday graphics and audio.
Aviary.com is making creativity accessible to the whole world and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Enjoy!
